Retired old lefty.
I’m gutted for himx
Some people do my head in.
This arse is one of them.
Why TF would we care about his business…? Did he care about all the SMEs bankrupted by Brexit? Does he feel any anxiety or shame about just how much that stupid idea has cost our country and many of us personally.
No.
He can absolutely do one.

Dont forget to keep your foot on the brake to dazzle the car behind.
Good evening and welcome to the M60 anticlockwise, my name is Gary and I'll be your assigned tailgater for the duration of your journey. I will have every light on the front of my car lit as brightly as twenty first century illumination science will allow,

Where did our Government get the numbers that the Country is doing well? Cause, we’re not

Inheritance tax on farms was never unfair. Family farms have legal ways to pass the farm down to the next generation without paying tax. The farms owned by investment trusts and rich landowners should pay the same as the rest of us. That would be fair.
What are the changes to agricultural property relief?

Reforms announced at Autumn Budget 2024 will help raise money to fix the public finances while protecting small family farms from unfairly high inheritance tax.

More than 40% of farms are tenanted and a majority of the rest are run as tax avoidance schemes for the rich and large corporations.
Why should farmers get tax relief when the rest of us have to pay up?
There are ways to avoid inheritance tax for small farmers eg lifetime gifts to children tax free
Inheritance tax is one of the fairest systems of taxation, and everything was in place to protect working farms, so this just looks pathetic frankly.

Government waters down farm inheritance tax plan
The government has now said it will lift the intended threshold from £1m to £2.5m.

Stop Moneing
Cool money-making idea: set up fake company, lie to get massive contract from government, buy yourself yacht with your new millions, get made a baroness for your hard work, fail to fulfil contract, wind up the company when you're ordered to pay money back. Isn't that clever? ♥️

He looks like one of those that sits at a red light with his foot on the brake, dazzling the driver behind. Most inconsiderate when it is dark and raining.
Dunno who this person is ahead of me at a red light, but I want to be friends.

Don’t get into a collision.

All of them.
Just a little reminder of the last Tory Health Secretaries.

Victoria Atkins,
Jeremy Hunt,
Therese Coffey,
Steve Barclay
Sajid Javid.

I personally think Streeting is significantly better than any of them.

Dale Vince is right.

What would you want him to do?
I’m willing to be that Streeting is going to go full-fannywobble and start blaming doctors for every conceivable wrong in the NHS on the back of this decision.

I think they should be named - and shamed.
There are MPs still interacting with the far right on X. A platform designed and run to undermine the UK and to shatter its values with hatred and violence. They're talking to people who want to deport them and who despise every word they say - and let's face it, don't believe they have any rights.

I think it might be Bal v Karen. I want both to go through but the lone male - George - will get the granny vote.
3 votes for Karen, 2 for Balvinder. Expecting a Bal v Amber DO, and Amber to go through.
Thanks for your company, everyone. See you tomorrow?

Do those same people condemn Trump for interfering in UK and EU politics?
People love reminding me that I'm not allowed to post about American politics cause I'm not American.

Even ignoring the problems with that concept in general, my wife is American, their family all lives in America and one of my brothers lives in America. I'm allowed to care about their hell hole.

Carole - I think you will find that quite a lot of us want ID cards, digital or otherwise.
Why is Keir Starmer so hellbent on digital ID? Two words: Tony Blair.

At @thenerve_news we’ve tracked Blair’s influence - & his billionaire backer Larry Ellison - behind a policy that nobody asked for & almost nobody wants.

Are you driving back?
Well we've wrapped the first load of presents (I just did the square ones), sworn at the sellotape often, tumble dryers broken down and received a road tax bill for a car that's never needed one before

On a more positive note, just got to drive to Ramsbottom now for a pub afternoon.
