My gauge for the economy after Trump has been the cost of coffee. WM French Roast 32oz bag went from $11 in spring 25 to $17. Yesterday when I looked it was $20. I just looked two days ago. I bought a metric ton of ☕ & chocolate after he was elected so I'm fine for now. Tariffs are taxes on us.

I fear that MAGA will somehow improve things just enough to pacify ppl right before the midterms & American's brain damage regarding how bad things are will just evaporate briefly, like it always does. 🙄
