There is no longer any moral or ethical high ground.
Cuellar accepted a pardon from Trump, who clearly wanted the congressman personally indebted to him. That's not what a real opposition party does. Democrats on the Appropriations committee should vote against reinstating Cuellar.
Pardoned Democrat faces internal opposition as he seeks to regain powerful committee post
Henry Cuellar faces a vote of fellow Democratic appropriators Thursday, and some have doubts.

Welp , it looks like this is who the Cowboys are. That defense just fucking sucks and the offense isn’t helping with dropped passes and turnovers. This shit is pathetic.

I absolutely fucking hate my fucking party.

Thank you Jon Ossoff.

"Just wanted to point out that Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff is quite possibly the most vulnerable Senator in America right now and tonight, he voted no on this deal.

This is what courage looks like."

I'll just say this. R leadership can get their caucus to support, almost unanimously, trump & all the shit we all know he is guilty of. Dem leadership can get their caucus to rally against legislation that starves children, denies health care to millions of Americans and kicks seniors off Medicare

At this time, we really need more Nancy "fucking" Pelosis. @nancypelosi.bsky.social

If these 8 or 9 Dems vote for the repugs CR, our party will lose in 2026. We had momentum, enthusiasm from voters who were disenfranchised in 2024, and young, progressive voters who felt the party has been weak and floundering. After last week, this is a gut punch. This is really, really fucked up.
November 10, 2025 at 1:09 AM
This is exactly why we lose critical voters in tough elections. People came out last week for the party and for the rights of Americans. 5 days later the party is turning their backs on and selling out voters who really just want them to fucking fight. Fuck Schumer. Shit ass "leader" that he is.

I think we are all pretty clear on the fact that trump's cabinet picks are astonishingly unqualified for their positions, but did they actually think these were inconsequential jobs and they didn't need to have the requisite skill set to succeed in them. These people are some stone ass fools

Yes, the stock market may be tanking and our national security apparatus has never been more vulnerable and we're on the verge of both economic collapse and war, but it was all worth it to keep pronouns out of email signatures.

It's always wrong to vandalize personal property and that certainly includes Teslas, and also: your government is actively disappearing innocent people without due process, so, you know, that second one is taking up my empathetic bandwidth at the moment.

@durbin.senate.gov It’s time for you to go ahead and step down. You and Schumer are not equipped to fight this fight. The people understood the call. We knew it would be difficult as we moved forward after this vote. The darkest time is just before the dawn kind of thing. Wasted opportunity.
March 15, 2025 at 1:05 AM
This shit almost reads like Schumer went out and whipped enough Dem votes to overcome a filibuster before making the announcement that he was selling us out. This is messed up.
This sounds pretty divisive from Schumer.

Thanks for not voting for it to pass. But he seems way too happy and willing to not fight for us. And we don’t really know what to do with a weak 74yo who is safe until 2028 and does not care what we think.

Just finally deactivated my Twitter account. Tried to keep it open and use it as a way to keep track of info I may not get here. However, I've noticed over the last few weeks that any post i read is inundated with crazy, right wing comments at a 10-1 ratio. It's fucking insane. I can't take it. Bye
