And we get three months of payments to sit with that before midterm elections.

Hopefully scores of people don't die because of this dumbass policy push.

I am guessing people will be in charge of buying their own gas or diesel, which are probably still sky high by Russian standards.

You are fuckin' adorable and cute as fuck!

The RFK Jr. special.

I honestly wonder how the court is going to look at the idea that a confession doesn't negate the presumption of innocence; is there precedent for that?

Diogenes still refuses to mince words.

My suggestion, as awful as it is, is to hold stock until the price stabilizes and then sell at market value for metals used plus your labor.

It will not be as affordable as it once was and I am very sorry about that, I know what it means to an artist who loves to make art for others to wear.
December 28, 2025 at 4:35 PM
I am again, not trying to be a jerk, but this is what happens at times when a metal is both financial and industrial. Many sectors are about to be hit and your prices might have to raise with the price of the metal unless you absorb the cost yourself, but then people will buy your goods for resale.

I completely understand why you feel this way, I'm just trying to help make sure your bottom line isn't absolutely destroyed by what is certainly a calamitous event for your business.

Historically, silver's price was about 1/30th of gold—we may end up back there quite soon.
December 28, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Whilst I totally understand what a hard time this is, do be aware that you are now participating in an exploding market and that any physical silver you have is an asset that will rise with it.

I know it doesn't fix the problem, but it may help soften the blow depending on how much you have.

They can pay ten dollars above spot for the next $100 dollars and still be buying it at a nice discount, while simultaneously causing financial chaos for any countries trying to indigenize a solar panel industry. Other than paying the real cost of silver in their exports, it's a win-win for them.
December 28, 2025 at 3:40 PM
China has always known that the low price was artificial, but they didn't care because silver is an industrial and political metal for them. At this point they know that they still need it and they can always get physical silver $10 above spot while forcing price discovery.

My brother has often recommended that we do our best to separate art from the artist—anything can and will be ruined if we allow ourselves to taste the whole of an artist's beliefs and actions.

When he brought it up it was related to Japanese creators refusing to denounce the use of comfort women.

Stop dragging Donald Trump into everything, we don't know this kid is his.

Honestly, I feel that every single one of the Dragon Age games has different things to love that make them wonderful; Origins is great.
December 26, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Had some delicious leftover pozole this morning—think I might go grab a couple beers and watch my partner play one of her Christmas gifts, Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

It's gonna be a good day.

Look, I know this is difficult but you need to rise above it.

Be the bigger man.
