Philly has lost a legend. I met Pierre all of once at a Foo Fighters show when I was 16 where he said "hi" to me and my friends. But I listened to him almost every day for a good chunk of my life. And that was enough to make him feel like your friend. Rest in Peace.

I despise political violence in all forms. But let's not kid ourselves about the man who died yesterday. He repeatedly disparaged the decision for the US to pass Civil Rights laws. He claimed being gay or trans or the like was a disease. And he wrote off gun violence as being a necessary evil.

After months of putting it off, I finally started watching season 7 of My Hero Academia. Partly due to superhero fatigue. Partly because a lot of the stuff that season covers was some of my least liked parts of the story. I honestly forgot how much I enjoy that show. Go figure.

Saw it again over the weekend. It was just as good the second time. I can’t recommend this movie enough.

Alright, I was one of the lucky few who got to see Superman last night. Not gonna go too deep into it, but it's my favorite movie of the year so far. James Gunn understood the assignment and gave us the most human Superman story to date. Everyone turns in a great performance. 9/10
