I made this mini zine in just under an hour, with a few materials I had on hand and an inspiration in my head.
I absolutely adore how it came out, and how it reminds me to be kind to myself, especially when it comes to art making.
Have you ever made a (mini) zine?

My heart is filled with bittersweet sadness and admiration for the end of a life truly well-lived.

Rest in Power, Jane Goodall.

Thank you for embodying the best of humanity. Your imprint on the planet and its creatures is indelible.

It's sickening - especially as an autistic scientist - how these eugenic rhetorics are affecting people worldwide, not only in the US!
To me, making art makes this world a bit more bearable, so I have this little leaf for you, and to celebrate the start of autumn here in northern Europe. Take care 🍁

New week, new colours! This time with sound because mixing the cards is oddly soothing. The colours do match something autumnal, don't you think?

Being neurodivergent with multiple chronic illnesses made me think of this saying - but not even feeling like a zebra. But what then? ➡️

I promised to show you what I did with the random colours yellow and violet (another set is coming tomorrow)! I have a digital and a traditional version - hex codes and pigment numbers for my fellow colour nerds ;) 🧵

My autistic side loves to make up rules, and my ADHD loves to break them. If I make them not fight but play together, often something unexpectedly beautiful comes out.

Did a fun thing with my colour cards for inspiration. Maybe it inspires one of you too?
I'll show you later this week what I made from it.

🖍️ Water-soluble pencils and crayons are great for a bit of art on the sofa when my energy is low. Cheap sketchbook that buckles, but not worried about doing it wrong - just bringing some colour into my life. Have you tried these?🖌️

I've just added the last bits to this oil painting (no title yet). I just love using a palette knife, and so easy to clean!

Hello Bluesky!
I've been scrolling around for a while, it's time for my first post. I'm making art in an accessible way for my ND brain and chronically ill body.
Currently I'm into oil painting with only a pallet knife. This 10x10 cm painting is called "Going Home Slowly".
