@ditchdocactual.bsky.social
Navy veteran, paramedic, volunteer firefighter, college student, dad to soon to be college student, and husband to @ninjava.bsky.social. I'm here to piss and moan about my job, share stupid memes, and chew bubblegum. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

1. Treat every weapon as if it were loaded. ...
2. Never point a weapon at anything you don't intend to shoot. ...
3. Keep your trigger finger straight and off the trigger. ...
4. Keep your weapon on safe until you intend to fire.

* Note this is not me or a patient that has been under my care.*

I have worked in EMS for almost 9 years now. In the 16,000 plus hours I have spent on duty, and in my experience, this has been the most effective way that I have gotten a patient to be at ease during a transport.
