Nah, I have t-shirts that I remember my dad wearing the crap out of in the 80s and 90s and then I've been wearing a sleep shirts this whole century. The fabric is worn but still soft and in one piece.

Eh, they'd be counted on a polling place level so that would probably work itself out. Very few other countries vote as much as we do. Most places have 1 question per ballot paper. Much easier to hand count even if distributing preferences!

It's because a US ballot paper has up to 50 different offices or questions to vote on. 50 is the high end, but 20 is very common. Makes it a bit more complicated to hand count.
