looks like in December Johnny Gioeli sued Sega saying he owned live and learn and that sega had been using it without his permission, he was also looking for more financial compensation for it

the case was dismissed in September with johnny making this statement

i want to say it was started because of the inclusion of live and learn in sonic 3, i think it was resolved somewhat but i haven't looked into the situation too much myself

biggest issue is no crush 40 music because of the legal stuff going on with them
