Like, at this point, if your feature list is just minimum viable block game, you're basically just missing mobs, ores, water and a crafting system.

Some of them, I think, either genuinely don't or know and are intellectually dishonest. afaict a supermajority at least are not like that.

Personally, I think we can get by without forcing privileged people to change their lifestyles by anything substantial and without making indigenous people's lives worse by investing in sodium-ion battery tech or some other tech where the ingredients aren't rare earth minerals.

I do wonder if indigenous communities potentially effected needed to give consent, if working conditions were far better regulated , and if efforts to prevent the mining from devastating the ecology there if it would be less of an issue or if it wouldn't be possible.

I hate that because the history textbooks I had growing up just...didn't mention Wounded Knee at all that my mental association of it is a fictional character who drinks like a fish in shame of what he did there.
Also, was it a gatling gun? Those were basically prototypes of WW1 machine guns.

I get the appeal. Problem is a database of people's IDs is one of the juiciest targets a would-be hacker could want. And since governments are notorious for bungling implementations of anything even touching a computer, it'll be awhile before I trust any government to secure this data properly.

it's a deliberate tactic because they're going to use even slightly subtle differences in your wording to paint you in a worse light. I'm sorry to say this is becoming a nearly universal thing for even the smallest "internet famous" PoC based on Hasan Piker's story.

I suspect this is why it's such an unpopular opinion that I think her music is a mixed bag. Like, she's still a valid artist and we still need more famous femme musicians of colour regardless of what I think of their talent. She doesn't need to be perfect, just good enough to move the needle.
