A remarkable 1987 article about “Q5”, a consultancy that, i’ve now learned, seems singularly responsible for the mass bland-izing of cartoons when i was a kid. I remember the sudden and mysterious Jeanine swap-out in The Real Ghostbusters! this explains so much.

A phrase such as "create the proper ambiance," the report suggests, could be phrased more simply: "Make this room look like a little boy's.

Because the NPR piece and a lot of other coverage didn't mention the catholic bishops' conference vote total on banning trans healthcare at the church's hospitals:

The catholic church hierarchy is overwhelmingly against life-saving trans healthcare.
