The DPF Peace Intern Program provides a paid position ($3,000 grant for the 12-week program) where DPF takes care of all the scheduling and pays for all of the travel arrangements. It is a life changing experience!

We encourage all Disciples of Christ in the United States and Canada to call their elected leaders and urge them to demand an immediate ceasefire and the resumption of negotiations to avoid further cycles of destruction.

While we are in opposition to all warfare, we recognize that many Christians believe that some wars can be necessary and just. However, one essential criterion for a supposedly just war is that it is a last resort. The attack on Iran reflects military opportunism and impatience instead.

Ruthie is a senior at Chapman University who will graduate this May with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Documentary Filmmaking, and a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. A HELM Scholar and a Phillips University Legacy Scholar, she served 2 years as Moderator of Disciples on Campus at Chapman.
