Chrys is at the CYF Conference at Camp Walter Scott in Illinois. Ella is on staff at the CYF Conference at The Retreat at Silver Springs in Florida. And Ruthie is at the Chi Rho Camp at Camp Christian in Georgia.

This is how white supremacy works. The parade is to honor the birthday of an historic Marylander. What if the parade were for Samuel Chase or Francis Scott Key? It would be fine. Douglass is defined by the feds only by his Blackness. But they’ll deny it.
