Look, I'm an American so I'm obviously biased about this, but it's wild to me that a restaurant would give you a hard time about how you choose to eat the meal that you paid for. Like yeah, how rude of me to like your food so much that I want to eat it twice.

Clearly defined character that the reader inhabits is my preference. Ironically I find "blank slate" really distracting, even when the author is really skilled it feels clunky when they're working really hard to avoid describing any features at all.

I'm from southern Maryland and older folks there use "ignorant" to mean rude or nasty. My grandma also used the word "common" to mean sleazy or self-serving. As in "that guy grabbed a fistful of change out of the take-a-penny/leave-a-penny tray, isn't that just common of him."

This sounds facetious but I'm so serious: have hobbies and interests and talk about them (without monopolizing the conversation). Also, be respectful of and show interest in her hobbies and interests. Find some hobbies and interests you can enjoy together, or at least enjoy talking about together.

True, the card is fine, but it's slightly less convenient than the app. I actually still have a physical suica card from when I studied abroad in Japan in 2011 and all the suica balance reader apps can still read it, so it may still be usable, we'll find out when we get there!

Still no justice for Android users, unfortunately 😄

I have a kiln in my basement that's designed for metal clay and glass fusing, I personally use it for metal clay and haven't worked with glass, but my understanding is that it's pretty simple to do. There's also a studio in Frederick, MD called Hot Fired Arts with a glass fusing kiln.
