Here's Skylor and Tommy and friends being too distracted by people laughing at them to effectively do what they came to do.

"Community" is a word that's often used to obscure divides. If you don't actually know vulnerable people in your community, your mental version of what your neighborhood is experiencing is likely centered on very different things than theirs. If you want to help, don't invent tactics from scratch.

If the regions of focus for ICE and CBP are going to shift, you're going to have to be prepared for what that means. Deep structures of trust to meet people's basic needs. An understanding that you cannot and will not know the full scope of action on a given day. Bracing for loss after loss.

Progressives resist, but often get subsumed by the liberal element touting "respectability politics".

Leftists resist the hardest, and are often sold out and murdered in the end.

So..

Dont lump leftists in with liberals.. and dont let liberals lead the resistance.

That being said, these labels are subject to changing material contexts, and liberals will often lean right if they benefit from it.

It is important to keep in mind that liberals, historically, dont resist authoritarianism.. they more often capitulate, enable, or do it themselves.

Liberals and progressives are center-right to center-left.

Further left of that is where you get into things like communism, collectivism, and syndicalism.

Leftists, ie. people globally left of center, dont align with liberals.

Liberals and progressives barely align with eachother.
