Spent a day down a rabbit hole reading dissertations on proper frisbee design. Made some tweaks to #combatrobot full body spinner, and it’s now stable at 3x previous speed with no hw changes. Exciting when a little knowledge is rewarded to quickly.

When we started building combat robots 10 years ago, we were one of only three North Carolina teams. After teaching endless classes at local science center, amazing to see a robot event today sell out in 20 minutes.

Today he & 3 friends drove an hour to teach kids about robots for a local science center event…so he’s following your example.

Not an astronomer, but you did a zoom class for my son’s 2nd grade class long ago (2015) about astronomy that we still talk about…and he’s now in college.

Organized a combat robot fight inside a bullet-proof cage on stage with a full symphony…cause robots are cool.
