Drawing: Blake, a sphinx-like creature with a dark blue-gray coat, an unkempt black mane, long ears and green eyes standing against a gray background. Her tail is cropped out I think I'm at the skill level of drawing her that I can finally portray Blake and her species in the way I've imagined. Lyr anatomy is just so strange lol cause I'm trying to force a feline body to have human and avian features, their front feet are human hands bent at an unnatural angle to walk, their neck is more like a heron neck than a mammal. Blake would realistically stand about 4-4.5feet at the shoulder in this form, meaning her head could be raised well above a normal human height. In this drawing I was really trying to sell that she is BIG even without a human present for scale (one will be added in the full) Same drawing as before but the full version with Blake's tail. Her tail is longer than the length of her body and is covered in the same hair as her mane with feathers at the midsection and a fan of feathers at the end for flight. The feathers are in a perpetually tattered/unkempt state much like her hair.

It is a bit disappointing since I've enjoyed his works since I was a teenager, but ultimately my nostalgia wasn't enough to cloud my judgement as an adult

I love truly weird art. But it feels like his desire to write shock value was overpowering his ability to write a story

Hello guys Ive been doing a ton of finals but here is my MLP sona. This is my AU that im building off of Jay Eaton's "Tiny sapient ungulates" idea, they're more like a branch of intelligent ungulates that split off from normal horses. and they got toes.
