Not to detract from a more well-known cousin, but once Oviraptor philoceratops was the most famous of the trio Osborn named 100+ years ago.

This is looking at the "less well known" Egg Thief.

More backlog formation pieces.
La Brea, without the tar for once and more lush than what you usual see. This was a diverse environment that is rarely shown in all its diversity, and we too failed at that here.

Recently I've gotten caught up with @talesofkaimere.bsky.social's Tales of Kaimere! Really cool fantasy setting with a spec evo twist. It's gotten so firmly wrapped around my brain I had to do some takes on some of the mammals from the setting, starting off with the best ones, the sloths 🦥

Here I show the place during autumn, a scenario we weren't able to show yet. It's an interesting time of year to cover, not only because of the novel colors in the flora but also the behaviors that many ungulates show during this time.

Building up with many layers of watercolour means that there's eventually a point at which applying paint will disturb the previous layers. Using tiny, sometimes pointilist brushstrokes minimises this, but it makes an already time-consuming process even more so. A trade-off for the pleasing texture.
