For those of us in the South Pacific, if you haven't heard the singing in the rugby league game between New Zealand & Tonga, you need to listen in on the ABC.

The Tongan, Samoan & Fijian crowds often sing hymns during games & it is beautiful to hear.

The sound they produce will bring you to tears.

I don't know if folks have been alerted to this, but there has been a magnitude 7.3 earthquake in Port Vila, Vanuatu's major city.

The US embassy has partially collapsed. This building is shared by other countries

There is no tsunami alert for the Pacific.
