Most EVs are company cars but make good 2nd hand buys (apart from obviously needing a new battery after 6 months, assuming they haven't burst into flames when they first came into contact with water)

Just over a 300 mile round trip complete. No drama, charged for some of the time whilst having a brew. Total cost including refilling at home under £26. Equates to about 80mpg, even with mainly charging at services.

SUVs are definitely an issue but all cars are larger - the last Ford Fiesta was bigger than the Mk2 Ford Escort, which was a Focus equivalent in its day.
Whilst cars are undoubtedly safer, it would be nice if we could start shrinking them again.
