Mancunian, blue, EV driver, trying social media again, this may not last. Personal finance. Be intentional.

Go to your streaming service of choice.
Find your favourite artist, preferably one who's been around a while.
Listen to all their albums, in order.
Turn shuffle off, just listen to the albums as they created them and as their style progresses.
Taken me a while to get through Rush but well worth it.
Arsenal could have saved a fortune by bringing in Tony Pullis and Rory Delap. They might have won more as well.

Think I MAY have worked out how Derren Brown did one thing this evening and feel like I'm a magical god.

Other than that, mind blown, as always.

Such a hugely influential figure in music. No idea how he lasted so long.
RIP Ozzy

Prime Goater there from Haaland

Watching Everton's last game reminds me of the last game at Maine Rd, also against Southampton, albeit we lost.

Also of absent friends and can understand their fan's emotions. The dad of the old man who used to sit next to me had died in my seat during a match (which he only told me that season!)

Congratulations to Crystal Palace on your #FACup win. Got your tactics right, fans were brilliant throughout.
Enjoy it and enjoy Europe next season.

Happy St Beneathus day, blues

We should come with a warning about not driving or operating heavy machinery after watching us.

Like watching two drunks fighting in a car park, before they fall asleep on each other.

Nunes is a terrible, terrible fullback. But then Haaland would probably be as well.
Any chance we could buy an actual fullback for either side?

Congratulations Newcastle.

After a very long wait, that first one will feel very special.

How many minimum wage workers do you need to sack to save £2bn? Asking for a friend.

If I was a well connected billionaire, I'd have been short selling a lot of stock and readying my cash to buy it back when the recession bites.
But I'm sure that won't have been happening in the US, as it would probably be illegal and the sort of thing that only happens in corrupt countries.

Just over a 300 mile round trip complete. No drama, charged for some of the time whilst having a brew. Total cost including refilling at home under £26. Equates to about 80mpg, even with mainly charging at services.

Beautiful day for a EV road trip.

People who talk about the magic of the FA Cup have clearly not sat through two hours of that.

Congratulations to Fulham, maybe we'll see you in the semis 🤞

Weird that Madrid do not have any children around the pitch to return the ball.
In team news, Asencio is playing centre half.

Absolutely no defensive cover from midfield now.
A combination of players who can't run, can't be bothered to run or have no idea what their job is supposed to be.

My takes:
1) Well played by Orient, showed everything that makes the FA Cup the best cup
2) Lot of those City players can't complain when they don't get to start again
3) Does Keown actually get paid for his level of insight?

This Champions League feels like it's been going on for about 2 years, there's a nonsense table made up of teams who haven't played each other and we still don't know who's playing who in the play offs?
What the...

Kovacic refuses to do his job yet again yet gets picked week in, week out.
No midfield, no fullbacks and doesn't appear to be something we're going to fix this window
January 29, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Wonderful for Jack Butland to achieve his childhood dream of scoring at Old Trafford
January 23, 2025 at 9:22 PM
If Kovacic is still in our first 11 in February we're in trouble.

Yanks Records, Manchester.

My dad always reckoned Dennis Law was the best striker he'd seen for City (his initial spell) and that included Aguero and Haaland.
A sad week with Book gone as well, will be sombre commemorations across Manchester over the next couple of weekends.
