Very sad to hear of the passing of @oldmudgie. Only a Twitter acquaintance for me, but he seemed to be much like me in terms of beer and pubs. Silly, but I’m really sad. RIP.

This absolutely isn’t the same as the original(s) but it is the next best thing. These have approx. doubled in price since their inception.

This is a lovely little haul, BUT there was a time when I wouldn’t have had to order this online because it was in the local store. How Belgian beer distribution has been devastated in the USA.

Somewhat oddly, this appears to be being marketed as both ‘Gulden Draak Vintage Ale 2025’ and simultaneously, ‘Trader Joe’s Vintage Ale 2025’ (brewed by VS) in the USA. Obviously the same beer, why would this happen?
