TIL you can set a variable to the output of a try-catch and use it as a Boolean for an if statement. It’s so incredibly simple and it looks dumb, but it works.

If I’m feeling extra spicy, I might even match up the lands for aesthetic.

I’ve played close to 30 games with Hearthhull, the Worldseed in Brawl. The matchmaking system is definitely pairing it against too low a tier of commanders. I don’t think I’ve lost a game yet and the only one that felt close was when I kept a one-land hand.

Started putting together a pre-EOE deck for Xolatoyac in Brawl to get a feel for the flow of the commander. This deck is going to be slow, but cool as hell when it comes online.

Calling it now - Station into Web-Slinging is going to be sweet for control decks.
