Kind of mind blown to see DK Bananza come up as one of the most regretted purchases by dozens of people on a popular FB Nintendo Switch group, where a post asked which games people regret buying. A lot them cited quickly losing interest, but personally it’s one of my favorite games of 2025. Wild.

One of the biggest changes we’ve seen this console generation is the unchecked growth of game file sizes!
The problem comes from publishers relying on digital-only releases or major day one patches. AAA games can be expected to take up anywhere from 30 to 100GBs, especially after a few patches.
