i was so excited that The Twelve Kingdoms had a dub and it was on Crunchyroll, but any time a character with a non-English name appeared it was a roulette of weird word combos. then i tried watching the SSSS.DYNAZENON dub and that bot has no idea what Gauma's name is so it makes up garbage.

ive been trying to get bigger personalities to see this for most of this year. even series that should have existing closed captions have them replaced by automated ones with NO OPTION to use the translation subtitles instead. so we get to watch an English AI guess English words for Japanese names.

it is such a neat term! one of my favorite details is that for Digimon Tamers they introduce the term Matrix Evolution, but only in the dub do they use the term Biomerge when the human and digimon combine, and Biomerge is such a cool term for it!

i think this is mostly advice for all the wiki sites with excessive advertising

while we are at it, since it is being measured anyway, record and assign "ad time" to logged in users on your site. measure how much ad exposure they experience in a session and offer a cooldown window as a bonus for being signed in and not a signed out user. like make the user experience not suck!

also websites and apps with advertisements shouldnt do scrolling ads anymore. either the ad is a fixed object at the top or bottom, and it should never be a video. you want movement? make a gif!
