UPDATE: Paris, still great.

Today, I got to see the David Hockney 25 exhibition at Fondation Louis Vuitton. It was incredible, life-giving, and very moving in parts.

Hockey began his "photographic drawings" in 2015. The indvidually photographed 3D figures were digitally positioned in the space of the studio thanks to a technology called photogrammetry. Although viewed in 2D, the composite image implies the third dimension by presenting multiple perspectives and the element of time-- because the viewer must look at each figure separately.
