My dad passed away on the evening of December 27th. We didn’t have a long history of memories due to circumstances out of our control. We reconnected after my mom passed away last year. Many hours on the phone & our birthday week spend together in June, I felt the love from him I had missed out on.

In April, I was talking about cars as I would be buying one soon. People kept telling me to get a Tesla. I wouldn’t own a thing from that man! I prefer my 20th anniversary Prius. There were only 2,020 of these made and I knew I had to have this exact model & color. She’s a charm! 100% paid off too.

1,508 days. That’s how long it’s been since my last drink of alcohol. To some, that’s minor, but I’m an alcoholic and have been since I was 17. I’ve taken “breaks” before but my #sobriety is now an important part of my life. I plan to stay #sober too as I don’t want to put anyone through that again.

These boys are 13 now. My other cat is going on 16. I’ve had all three since they were kittens and they are definitely my spoiled babies.
