It's the same that opening the box of Schroedingers cat doesn't change you or the cat it simply displays which universe you are in. You have free will but the other you's have made choices. It's not that your choice was an option because you all made the choices...

I don't want to be picky but why is an article about "healthy diet" showing a picture of two people with bowls of cereal... Is it meant to show what is not healthy as a starter.

I thought it was coincidence that our (big) companion planet moving away from us just happens to be at the right distance to match size with the sun, it should get smaller and not cover the sun in several of thousand years.

I struggled with where the energy would come from to create a whole new universe but the other universe is there all the time, there are two places. In Schroedinger's cat there isn't a single cat. The opening the box just shows which universe you're in, no collapsing all the possibilities happened.
