There’s no doubt that the quota that ICE agents in the US have to satisfy will not only amplify the racism that overtly structures the Trump administrations deportation initiative, but amplify the fear beyond those populations coded as “illegal.” This was never about legality.

So there’s a direct connection between the way the workplace is governed and the political desire of fascist, anti-democratic tendencies whose machinations of power are driving hegemonic right-wing politics of today.

Collective bargaining via unions is the way to end these practices.
