It's been said before and it's worth saying again that libraries as a new concept would be *inconceivable* if proposed today (considering our seemingly increasing neoliberal worldview)

Like the Spadina Road Branch next door to the Native Canadian Centre that specializes in Indigenous literature. Its exterior notes the Cree word for "the lodge or place of the book", Mahsinahhekahnikahmik

Or my own home branch of Parkdale that includes a library of musical instruments. So cool!

Am I missing something? The screenshot does not seem to say this. It says that parking is available through the building and for that reason on street parking permits aren't available to these tenants.

I know from personal experience that this exception has been the case for many years.
