Your average early X-files episode has better lighting and staging than most movies these days.

One thing I’m grateful for is not working in big chain high street retail when tiktok dances & Instagram reels are a thing. Urgh imagine getting to your Saturday shift at H&M & finding out you’ve got to recreate Kendrick’s half time dance on the shop floor.

I keep seeing people sharing footage from the crowd at the Super Bowl as an example of why Kendrick’s performance was bad. But the thing is the crowd is probably only there because they can afford to say they were there. Which is why the arts & culture need to be affordable, let the actual fans go

Midway through this & debating giving up. It was advertised as a folk horror & it’s definitely not. The plot is interesting just at 200 pages out of 500 it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere & has forgotten the horror/creepy elements. Also can’t figure out how old the characters are?
