As someone who works in trans health please hear me when I say people with training and clinical expertise in this field reiterate time and time again that there is no problem with gender-affirming care, treatments and affirmation of trans people.

My thoughts exactly when I saw this. Someone either missed the point or is purposely burying any whiff of decolonial themes.
It's so sneaky/sinister that Disney turned the ice cream guy into a native Hawaiian man. Lilo taking pictures of white mainland tourists is a kind of coping mechanism for being treated like an attraction/novelty, it's a vital part of her character. Disney clearly wants to defang the original film.

So a government is not meant to MAKE money. It’s not a corporation. Governments exist to make the lives of citizens better through services.
Cutting services isn’t a cost savings, it’s negligence. It’s like if you paid me to fix your roof and I only did half of it to “curb wasteful spending”.
