This whole conversation around using ableist language against MAGA/bigots/etc is EXACTLY why I do not believe in the concept of allies. Everyone wanna be an ally until they're told that they need to modify their default behavior. "How can I be an effective communicator without slurs?" is absurd.

Every single school should have a library & a librarian, to help every single child find the books that will make them readers, and give them all the lifelong benefits of literacy. Libraries & librarians change children's lives FOREVER!
