The cysalis we found on our passion flower vine opened up today and this beautiful butterfly emerged. Always amazed that caterpillars morph into bufltterflies.

I am not in any way trying to compete with those who post amazing animal pictures and videos, but I am trying to boost my mood by capturing animal shots when I can. I saw this guy during a recent visit to Atlanta.

Received this gift bag from a student in my neuroanatomy class yesterday. It is great to feel appreciated when all of higher education is under attack.
