I’m sure Trump would call Esper’s refusal a seditious act. Because Trump sees himself as a king not a president; his subjects must be loyal to him, not the Constitution.

Trump is well aware of these horrors, as are GOP members of the Senate. Not giving Zelenskyy what he needs to win this war is the same as aiding and abetting Putin.

I think there’s probably 25-30% of the GOP that will never find fault. Like true cultists, they would follow Trump off a cliff.

My guess is that after the ballroom is completed, he’ll say the rest of the WH looks shabby and small in comparison. Then he’ll continue to make the People’s House into his golden palace.
