3 days ago a 20 y.o female yacht crew member was murdered by a 40 y.o male crew member. Attached is a petition to make background checks mandatory to help ensure crew safety.
This young woman was my daughter’s friend and former co-stew.

36 yrs ago I got Salmonella food poisoning when I was 5 1/2 months pregnant. They put me on a labor and delivery unit fearing I would go into premature labor. Thankfully I went full term and delivered a healthy baby.
