I avoided social media for so long I have no idea what the rules are. What is this? I've become grandma. I'm typing "Buy HRT" in the comments.

Cranberry Curd Tart and Chocolate Coconut Pecan Pie I made for Christmas dinner.
The Pie is a longtime favorite recipe I've been tweaking and the Tart is a new one for me. Hope it turns out great!

Another year, another round of presents wrapped while listening to @notquitereal.bsky.social's Sangfielle soundtrack. If this happens a third time, does that make it a tradition? Why does this album feel so seasonal to me? Why do I keep drawing The Shape on all the package tags? 🚂🤷‍♀️🎄

No doubt, this will be the best turkey I've ever made.
First time's the charm.

Thanksgiving is coming up, so its time to make changes to a recipe I've never made before with all the confidence society expects of an AMAB. Don't worry, I totally know what I'm doing.

Angel's Egg might be the best animated film. Am I allowed to say that? I'm glad I got a chance to see it in theaters. I don't really know anything about anyone else's reception, but I was captivated. Lots of great inspiration for my creative hobbies.

Surprise, we're getting pretty close to the final version of REALIS!

ICYMI: I've been making a TTRPG about mystical moons and living spaceships and sentences that can kill you. A preview is available now (see my pinned post), but the full version draws near!

Here's a screenshot of the email I sent to Visa about this. Collective action *can* make a difference in times like this, and sending a letter takes as little as a couple of minutes.

I've been banging this drum for years now, I know, but Zohran's Big Night is a clear illustration of the power of giving people a vision of the future that boldly contradicts the rhetoric of Republican fearmongers. Not just "disagrees on policies," but actively paints a different image of the world.

After losing all but my starter to Elesa, then half my team in the first Elite 4 run, I finally beat my first nuzlock! I had to use a legendary though. I was running out of pokemon! Here's my final team I beat Alder and Cynthia with:

On our last day we went to the Adelaide Botanical Garden and saw a night display of blown glass art by Dale Chihuly. They were beautiful.
A nice dinner, no sleep, and 18 hours of travel time later we were home. Tired, and the air conditioner was out. Yay. We got it fixed though

Adelaide day 1 we drove out to a nearby town for a lunch cruise on a paddle boat. It was great but we didn't realize that uber would take us out there but not take us back. Thank God for public busses.
Once we got back we were still able to make it to a tour of Adelaide Gaol for some spooky stories

On our last day in Sydney we got on an overnight train to Adelaide. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures that don't have us in them but it was really nice. Good food, and we got to meet some very interesting travellers.

For our 2nd day, we went to an amazing spa i forgot to take pics of and had afternoon tea, then later we saw Dido and Aeneas at the Sydney Opera House. It was good, but they were doing a sort of odd modern take with acrobats in the background that I really liked but also made it more confusing

We had dinner at the Sydney Tower Eye, which they aptly called SKYFEAST™️
It's was nice for a buffet, but it was still a buffet.
The next day we went to Sydney Zoo and got to do a reptile handling experience. Caitlin was beaming, and the snakes were cuter than I expected

On days 6 and 7 we drove down to Sydney. On the way we stopped at Byron Bay Lighthouse, stayed the night in a cute little beach cabin (the kookaburra and kangaroos were just chilling on the lawn), and visited the town where my friend grew up. Great fish and chips on the beach on the way down too 🐟🍟

Day 5 was a bit hit and miss. Gorgeous views from the side of Mt Tambourine, followed by a slightly underwhelming glow worm cave tour I wasn't allowed to take pics of. As well as an ill fated Jungle hike to a "nearby" waterfall that my friend assured me he remembered exactly where it was. We lived.
