In 1996, I was only vaguely aware of Tom Jennings contributions to net culture and tech history, but I had an extremely prized issue of Homocore that I boosted from a shelf at Smash in DC when mom took me for my birthday the year before (and lived far below a decoy Playboy in my jeans drawer).
