Yeah, fair. They're probably using a local neural machine translation model. So not really "AI" in the modern sense.

Transformers, the bit of tech that made LLMs possible, was originally created to power neural machine translation algorithms, which were what they have been using until relatively recently for most of this stuff. But yeah, now LLMs are starting to take over.
