Made a new one of these. Retro Movie Reissues with characters that barely appear in the film are the gift that keeps on giving. And hey, we know they have the mold

Did some digging, Ceji Joustra released it in their Diaclone line (which was already a mash-up of Diaclone and Micro-Change), the interesting thing is they also kept the Kronoform branding too.

I've largely cut out variants from my comic collecting, but I seemingly still have a weakness for 2nd prints

Sod it, sharing my G2 Dinobots again as they're great.

I still can't quite believe I put together a set of the Diaclone Dinosaur Robo

Haha, no, not at all. While the 1986 Movie lost money at the box office in a vacuum, as part of the Transformers brand it was a drop in the ocean at $6m

Business quadrupled to $850m in 1984, surpassed $1b in 1985, overtook Mattel to become #1 toy brand. 10% growth in 1986. They were flying.

G1 Horri-Bull

Other than the complete and total discolouration (grey has turned to an almost brown), this guy has held up better than expected. Heavy play during his toy days has worn down the pegs that normally cause problems later in life when brittleness sets in

You won't like him when he's Fangry

Man, this guys legs were completely seized up and can't fully straighten without uncomfortable force, and I can't find his weapons (if I ever had them), still looks great though

Sucks that we have Horrorcons, Terrorcons, Monsterbots, and these guys got stuck with Decepticon Headmasters (1988)

From now on, they're the Monster Squad!

G1 Broadside

A mythical beast when I was young. I never saw one in store, never had one second hand, didn't have a mate who had one, I had just never seen one.

Found it on a market stall early 90s for £2. I was overjoyed. Filling gaps before ebay was just random dumb luck.

G1 Sandstorm - another childhood toy, but this one was second-hand when we got it (as most of ours were), but has since been cleaned and stickered

G1 Springer - another relic from childhood I haven't felt the need to upgrade. I have replacement stickers, but I don't have the heart to remove these ones my brother applied over 30 years ago
