When I was 8, my brother and I wanted the Scorponok toy but couldn't afford him. We took cuttings off mum's plants, grew new ones, and sold them until we could afford him. I went on to toy sales, bro opened a plant nursery

Other than the complete and total discolouration (grey has turned to an almost brown), this guy has held up better than expected. Heavy play during his toy days has worn down the pegs that normally cause problems later in life when brittleness sets in
