Since it's hard to work when my kids have the day off, and friends over, I baked instead. Used up the strawberries before they went bad and created silent we can use whipped cream on, in honor of @adampknave.com
A photo freshly baked strawberry lemon Blondie's. They're still cooling and haven't been cut or glazed yet. It looks more like a strawberry cobbler resting on parchment paper on cooling racks atm.

Was supposed to be working on something else last night but I couldn’t figure it out, so I drew this portrait of myself instead. (It helped. I figured out the other thing.)

Hello. Hi. Have a smol baby bean that I found in some plastic sheeting while cleaning skeletons.
Baby was placed back into the garden where the bugs are and has disappeared into what I hope is a long and happy lizard life.

It was a good night for suns out guns out Janeway, and not a really warm sweater, but oh well. (It was like 65-70 the entire time we were out)

A mom came up to me excited that I was Rainbow Brite, but I'm Mabel Pines! I just went along with it.

Also, a kid here is dressed as Skibidi Toilet and a French man* is explaining 6 7 to other parents. Halloween is great.

This is my hobby. I highly recommend it.

Much like in real life, I messed up the arms and changed them part way through. (I was working off photos and didn't catch the mismatch on my reference) Not pictured, the instructor spotting me or my crash mat.

A guide to a ridiculous workout I did. First a woman is hanging upside down from a dance pole in a pose similar to the one you'd see on a crucifix. Next she moves so her chest and face and facing the pole and her but scoots into the air, resembling a caterpillar. Then she extends her outside leg back behind her, so she looks like a butterfly (the extended leg makes a wing like silhouette.

I found it! It is NOT DONE, and this isn't really a filibuster, but Merkley is holding the floor so...it's kinda relevant.
Page one of a comic explaining the filibuster in the US Senate. It starts with a character asking what a filibuster is and continues as a second character comes in and explains that it's a speech that interrupts Senate business and makes it so they can't pass bills while the person giving the filibuster is speaking. And they can talk for HOURS! The first character asks why talking for hours is a big deal. The second character explains how the filibuster works to give voice to the minority party in the senate and how it can influence public opinion on some matters. Maybe people will call their senators and ask them to change their votes on an issue. No more drawings, but the text continues to explain proposed changes to the filibuster, including getting rid of it. The last page is all text and no panels. It tells folks how to find their senators on senate dot gov, and the number for the capitol switch board. 202-224-3121

Doodled a bike, because I never draw bikes, they're hard, and a sleeping guy on BART last night. Dude across from me was pretty sure I was starting him, but nope. Just his bike. #illustration #sketching

It's not kid lit related, but I have been having fun slowly going through and drawing houses for my Grand Designs Zine. I have to do Kevin's caricatures right away, because I love those. (gotta book with historical figures? I can draw those XD)

Who puts people in plastic?!"
