Proud to be from Teesside, dog lover, tennis fan and Francophile.
Having done business with a few farmers over the years I can confirm none of them were easy to deal with.

In order to have the courage of your convictions you have to have convictions…

Rayner is damaged goods. It seems she’s a bit too keen on the trappings of power. The Labour membership is perfectly capable of electing a useless leader that will be worse than Starmer.

I’ve got a few quid on John Healey as a unity candidate.

Trump can’t sue the BBC in the UK courts as it is more than a year since the Panorama was first broadcast.

If they did they’d lose more votes than they’d win.

We’re polarising, which is tough for those in the centre.

Johnson or Corbyn was a dreadful choice but Farage or Polanski will be every bit as bad.

If people in southern and south western England want to be represented by an economically illiterate self confessed charlatan who wants to leave NATO, let them get on with it. Media pandering to a proven con man won’t work and will only do damage!

Cuts both ways?

A couple of times previously Lucy Powell embarrassed herself by getting into a loud slanging match with him. Lisa Nandy was clearly ready for his angry pub bore routine and gave a masterclass.

Doesn’t help that the UK population has increased by 20% in the 33 years since the last new reservoir was opened so 12 million more people using the same amount of resource.

We’ve been a de facto gerontocracy for decades with the country run for the benefit of the grey vote.

Haven’t seen it yet as was attending the funeral of a 105 year old D-Day veteran.

Would appear from the guest list that you were surrounded on all sides by right wingers…

If you keep blocking sensible reform under your own Labour government you will end up with extreme change under Reform.

Lucy Powell winning would be another gift to Reform. Sacked for not being up to being in government and Reform will make hay with mock ups of her blowing a dog whistle.

Rumour has it Farage’s next rebrand will be to ‘Conform’…

Manchester, Liverpool, South Yorkshire and Humberside are the faux north.

Being from just north of the River Tees in County Durham I was brought up believing that the cockney began at Middlesbrough!

Now of course I realise it’s the start of the Midlands! 😉
