Tonight’s tipple!

A weak and watery 14.9% and if you believe it’s actually below the 15% cut off I have a bridge you may be interested in buying…

People keep telling me that Labour isn’t losing votes to Reform yet @yougov.co.uk poll today shows Reform potentially winning 231 Labour seats if there was an election now.

Whatever they do people are upset! Reducing immigration was a manifesto commitment.
May 14, 2025 at 2:01 PM
Except it’s not a fringe that is concerned about immigration. If immigration carries on as it has then Farage will be Prime Minister and what he does in power would be far more extreme than anything he’s ever said to get elected.

It’s Mother’s Day in the UK but our non religious Prime Minister who has teenage children and a Jewish wife has made no mention of it.

He has posted on X for the 7% of the UK population who have been observing Ramadan.

An own goal that plays right into the hands of Reform.

The old adage that when America sneezes we catch a cold could finally no longer be true because the damage Trump is doing is primarily to the US economy. Early days but can’t remember the FTSE not tracking the DOW morning after a big fall. He makes elsewhere more attractive to invest.

For nearly 30 years I’ve bemoaned that the wrong one of the two main characters dies at the end of Heat.

Thank you Day of the Jackal for getting it right…

The methodology here is clearly flawed with Middlesbrough and Spurs aren’t on the list!

Got blocked on X by the Tories client journalist of choice Camilla Tominey this morning by pointing out her hypocrisy when it comes to freebies at sporting events - as well as blocking me she deleted the post on X and Instagram. Over £4k of hospitality for one day at Queens Club.

Why is it when on holiday glorious weather is best enjoyed when you know it’s utterly foul back home? FYI 32 degrees and unbroken sunshine here in the South of France 😃🥂

I made a pilgrimage this morning to a solitary British grave in the village of Moureze in Southern France.

80 years ago today a special forces hero Captain Peter Seymour Fowler was gunned down in cold blood by the SS aged only 25.

I am humbled to honour such a brave man on this anniversary. 🇬🇧🇫🇷
