In the 70s I was at Manchester University studying Physics. I didn't see the Sex Pistols at the Lesser Free Trade Hall but I did write a Fortran program to simulate the flow of neutrons in a nuclear reactor. The rest is history.

I reckon there’s going to be a huge reaction against AI along the lines of veganism or GM free or Fairtrade - some consumers will demand that a company do not use AI in their production. But will those consumers be wealthy enough to make a difference?

Damn, didn’t even know Neil Young was a possibility for Glastonbury and the first we hear is that he’s pulled out. Much as I enjoy the BBC coverage it’s odd that they have the power to set minimum limits on how much of a set is broadcast.
