I stood on this spot a year ago and vowed to faithfully care for this community of faith in an increasingly inhospitable culture. I’m grateful for everyone who have made similar vows this past year.

A remarkable morning at the No Kings Rally/Handmaids March in Fort Worth. I had an unexpected opportunity to pray with and bless a number of the marchers.

4 years ago the anti racism council I co-chaired at Broadway issued the attached statement. Today the chief insurrectionist is pardoning the insurrectionists who invaded the capital. The moral arc of the universe is longer than I’d hoped though I still believe we can bend it toward justice.
