Mark Carney is travelling to the UAE this week, but has not indicated that he will raise the issue of the UAE’s support of the paramilitary RSF in Sudan.

The RSF recently carried out a brutal massacre in el-Fasher, Darfur, killing hundreds of civilians.

Hard to believe Elizabeth May is naive enough to believe Canada is on track to meet its 2030 Paris Agreement target with this pro-oil budget.

Voting for it with that rationale gives false confidence to many people. In reality, we're way off track from the target. 1/

All other opposition MPs voted against, except for Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, who voted “yea” alongside the Liberals.

The vote barely squeaked by thanks to abstentions.

Final tally: 170 yeas, 168 nays
Could we be getting an ELECTION for Christmas?

Well, the Liberals still need one more “yes” vote to avoid that (or two abstentions), making the vote that’s taking place in two hours a real nail-biter.

When a talk featuring IDF soldiers was disrupted in Toronto last week, most media demonized the pro-Palestine crowd using debunked claims, rather than focusing on the soldier who threw students to the ground.

Yesterday, two soldiers in the Israeli military were speaking at an off-campus event in Toronto organized by university student groups, before the event was disrupted.

Earlier this year, we obtained audio of two IDF soldiers speaking at a similar event.
