Frankly, I'd rather my taxes pay for a regular average family to sit down to a fancy lobster and steak dinner they paid for with SNAP, than have them pay Mike Johnson's exorbitant salary while he sets records dragging his feet to not swear in an elected member of Congress.

It's not impossible to get "luxuries" on the cheap, or even free, if you know where to look and who to ask. But these nosy ass people who think it's their business what Sandra does with her food stamps or child care credits, can't see past their own reality into the realm of possibility. 3/

You can play games or get points for searching online and redeem for gift cards. You can buy things at thrift stores or off the clearance rack. Or Temu or Shein or whatever. You can sell things you find at a thrift store. People can give you gifts. 2/
