Poundcake was uninterested in the snow but was eventually convinced to get out in the sun for a bit. She definitely seemed to be glad to catch some rays but now she is inside, in my lap, giving herself a bath. #cat #CatsOfBluesky #Poundcake #MaineCoon #SnowDay

Goofy face, goofy outfit. Getting a headstart on outrunning the demons of 2024. First time #running since the surgery, and since way before, for that matter. Not as far as I wanted. But I suited up, got out, and did the thing, which is my overall #resolution for #2025.

Starting to get the hang of cooking in stainless steel on electric burner. Higher heat than you think but set burner lower & let it come to temp slowly so you don't overshoot. Wait for leidenfrost effect, add a little high temp oil, then be ready to cook FAST. Here's my pan after scrambling 3 eggs!
