I’m not. It’s the delays and chaos caused by our (long) broken system that gave the haters their opening to push for rapid deportations. Immigrants should have a much shorter wait time to get their cases decided. Everyone benefits.

A large and necessary part of the solution is funding the immigration legal system adequately so that asylum, naturalization and removal proceedings are concluded more quickly. Both R’s and D’s have failed to do so in the past. Why should we expect a bipartisan solution now? Under present admin???!

If you want to blame anyone for this, it’s Bezos. He may still hope to get whatever he wanted by trading away WaPo’s integrity, but it won’t be readers.
